Turn your Sony FX5 into a cinema camera with CineBack®!

CineBack® is a camera rig that attaches onto the back of your camera giving you tons of mounting options, power choices and other features that you can learn about in the video and description below.

You can choose to film with a boxy cinema setup or a more documentary style setup with the XLR Handle Version or CineBack® FX5.

CineBack® FX5 Features

• V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate for longer run time
• Works with the Sony XLR Handle for FX5 when you purchase the XLR Handle Version or convert the standard version to the XLR Handle Version
• Dual USB-C Power Delivery power jacks for powering your camera and other devices (right angle USB-C cables here)
• 15mm rod ready when using the optional Pro Base (sold separately)
• Rotating D-Tap splitter with 4 outputs to power your camera and other accessories
• Compatible with the F38 quick release system
• Compatible with 8+ cages from SmallRig, Tilta, Neewer, Sirui.
• Power switch to completely cut power so there is no battery drain
• Screen side mount allowing you to use your camera screen in cine mode, open or closed
• Top and bottom cheese plates for mounting accessories and other rigging gear
• Cable management compartment and door with cable routing built in.
• Modular with future module options to come.

Required Gear

The only required gear is a cage from the list below, but we highly recommend also grabbing the Falcam F38 Combo Quick Release Kit to easily remove the camera from CineBack®!

Optional Gear

You can power the camera from via the USB-C Power Delivery jacks on the side using our right angle USB-C cables which are the perfect length for CineBack®.
