Because it hasn't even arrived yet! I contact u guys some days ago to tell you that UPS completely screw everything up and changed my delivery date and u blame ups for that but guys I bought de CineBack to you, No UPS . I told u I needed it before that new date UPS gave me cause I have a fly that day. If UPS doesnt delivers me the CineBack on wednesday you should to take responsability on that and send me The Cineback at my new location for free!

So sorry that happened Robert and we are frustrated too! We get orders in the mail same day by 3pm ET and ship using the user selected shipping service. After the UPS guy picks up the package we have no control over shipping times. We did our part and I wish we had more control beyond the pickup but we don't :-( Totally understand if you have a bad taste in your mouth about the whole thing and understand if you would prefer to submit a return via email.

It's a real game changer for my Panasonic s5ii. The quality is good, and it really opens the door to rigging options.

Excelent product, but pricey

The cineback is great. I love it. It turns my s5IIx into a useable handheld camera due to the extra bulk, and being able to cable manage everything and attach the v-mount to the back securely is fantastic.

I have two gripes and a warning, however.

Gripe one is a minor one, but significant for me. The top cheese plate has 3/8” threaded holes which are perfect for attaching (in my case) a top handle. However they are not the style that has Arri locking pins, and both top handles I own attach with 3/8” and Arri locking pins. I have had to add another, smaller cheeseplate on top to attach my top handle.

My other gripe is more significant. The price. This is an expensive piece of kit. I'm not saying it's too expensive, as I understand that these are small batch production runs, but for what it is and the functionality that it offers, you really need to love a longer body form factor to justify the cost. For me it really works as a shoot a lot with a steadybag around my neck as a stabiliser and the extra body length works well for that use case. But this won't magically transform your mirrorless camera into a cinema camera. It needs to work for your shooting style to justify the cost. Also if your are a hybrid shooter and like to take photographs with the same camera... be aware that the rigging and de-rigging of your setup with the cineback is going to take some time!

And the warning is for my European colleagues... on top of the €47 shipping costs I also had to pay almost €100 taxes to receive the product (payed through UPS) bringing the total cost for me up to a fun €460!
