Required Gear

The only required gear is a cage from the list below, but we highly recommend also grabbing the Falcam F38 Combo Quick Release Kit to easily remove the camera from CineBack®!

Optional Gear

You can power the camera from via the USB-C Power Delivery jacks on the side using our right angle USB-C cables which are the perfect length for CineBack®. Alternatively yo can also use the D-Tap jacks on CineBack® with a D-Tap to FZ100 Dummy Battery to power your camera. We've used the Alvin's Cable version as well as the Kondor Blue cable without issue.

Quick Release Compatibility

Add the Falcam F38 quick release Combo Kit if you would like to quickly add or remove your camera.

Which Version?

There are two versions of the CineBack® V3 for FX3/FX30. The Standard Version and the XLR Handle version. Choose the standard version if you don't use the Sony XLR-H1 audio handle and want a large flat top cheese plate to build off of. If you use the XLR Handle it's simple, go for the XLR Handle Version!

Keep in mind you can always switch back and forth using our kits.

Conversion Kits

You can purchase conversion kits to switch between the Standard Version and the XLR Handle Version. On top of that, you can use the Pro Base upgrade to add 15mm rods to either version of CineBack® V3 for FX3/FX30.

Pro Base

The Pro Base adds 15mm rods to CineBack® at the industry standard 85mm distance from the sensor to the center of the 15mm rod plane. The Pro Base works with either the Standard Version or the XLR Handle Version.
