Required Gear
You only need one thing to get CineBack® to work with your R5 C series camera is a cage. Here are the three that are supported:
- Tilta Full Cage for the R5 C (Model Number TA-T32-FCC-B)
- SmallRig 2982B Cage for R5 C, R5 or R6
- SmallRig 3233B Black Mamba Cage for R5 C, R5 or R6
- If you have the R5 or R6, the SmallRig 3233B or 2982B cage is required.
Optional Gear
- Quick Release Module - This spacer kit allows you to use the Falcam F38 Quick Release Plate.
- Falcam F38 Quick Release Combo - Use this with the Quick Release Kit mentioned above to add quick release functionality to your CineBack®
- Canon XLR Adapter Plate for CineBack® V2 - This kit allows you to use the TASCAM CA-XLR2d-C XLR Microphone Adapter with your CineBack® V2 (not compatible with CineBack® V1)
- Right Angle USB-C Cable - Perfect for power delivery from CineBack® to your camera. We recommend the 20 inch version for this CineBack®.

Version 1 FAQ
- Question - Does the SmallRig 3891 (Black Mamba) cage work with CineBack for the Rc5?
- Answer - Kind of... You can use the two silver screws and a washer to fill the space between the 3891 cage and CineBack but since the cage is so thin at points, it can actually warp a little and pull the camera out of alignment. For this reason we've opted to not include the Black Mamba cage in the list of compatible options. Below are some photos of the screw placement for those interested in still using the cage.
